ssd and HDD partitioning?

When you have computer with a SSD 250GB boot and a HDD 1. TB for storage is it recommended that you partition the storage drive?

that depends. if you feel good with one big partition, then you don't have to partition it. for me I'd like to put working documents, backup and music in different partitions. of course, these files can be put in different folders.
