I'm a new PC builder and was wondering what your guy's thoughts were about my set up. I'm a college student, so I plan on making a cheap decent desktop around $1000. I put these items together and was wondering if they would even match up and work together. My set up includes:

Processor- Intel i5-4590
Motherboard- Asus Maximus VI Hero Z87
Memory- G.Skill Ripjaws X
GPU- Asus R9 270X 2G
HD- WD1003FZEX
Power Supply- Rosewill Valens-700W
Case- NXT Phantom PHAN-001BK
Windows 7 64bit
Disk Drive- Asus DRW-24B1ST

What do you guys think? Good for a price around $1000? Will it work?
