My PC has the following specs :

CPU: i3 540
Mobo: DH55TC
GPU: Gigabyte HD 7750
HDD: WD Caviar Green
RAM: 2x2GB modules (not sure what make, probably something local and cheap)
OS : WIn10 TP

I got myself a 4gb Corsair RAM today for the same system. (http://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B009CILPRI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00)

The BIOS recognizes the new RAM, but the windows boot fails everytime and it gets stuck in a reboot loop.
The windows boot logo appears (the 4 blue squares and the revolving white dots) and then it restarts again from the intel motherboard screen.
I got a few BSODs too a few times, like <irql not less or equal> and another a kernel error
I tried resetting the BIOS with the jumper, I tried simply using the corsair ram, with the old ram unplugged and still didn't work.
It works fine with just the old ram sticks.

Could this be an issue with windows 10 TP or is it with my RAM/Motherboard?

I did raise the voltage from 1.5v to 1.6 in one attempt but that didn't work either.

Downloading ubuntu now and will load it on a usb stick by tomorrow to see its an issue with windows.
