Hi, Guys,

I have a problem, hope you can help.

Specs of the PC:
i5-4590
8GB RAM
GeForce GTX 750 ti
Windows 7

bought it 2 weeks ago, haven't yet had the time to mess it up. Went through all driver updates recently.

So the problem: Playing Guild Wars 2. After maybe 20 minutes the game and the pc freezes and after 30 seconds all comes back alive again, but GW2 then run2 at 1 fps and the computer just lags/freezes like hell. Minimizing the game takes some 30 seconds. The lag continues like that even after shutting down the game (which takes 2-3 minutes). Afterwards even when in desktop with no programs running, it's unbelievably laggy. After pressing the start menu it opens only in some 10 seconds. in the Lagy period the PCU has even with no programs on 25% usage, all of that attributed to the task manager. Not in the laggy mode, it's 0%.

Temperature problem? hard to believe it would be. While running the game and neither during the pre-freeze, freeze or post -freeze time the GPU doesn't climb over 51, the CPU over 50-51. Although, getting the temperature down by upping the vent speed has prolonged the game time to maybe 30 min.

So after the game freezes, the lags of the PC are so harsh, i can't even make print screens or anything of sensor readings. is not really lags, but more of a occasional re-freeze every 5 seconds for 1 second. After the restart all is back to normal.

Played Civ V, Heroes VI, don't starve. Haven't encountered anything like that... Seems like a GPU problem, but no idea what's causing it or how to cure it. Re-installed the drivers a couple of times already.

Any ides? Thanks a lot, I'm desperate already...

Hey. New.
Yeah, I know, the logical conclusion would be temp. But I've lowered the settings to lowest possible, turned up the fan, and just left the game open with no movement, skill animation etc. GPU at around 35. Still after some time same thing happened - the game dropped to 1 fps and the mega lagy state returned...
