Hopefully someone can help me with this. I have a newer build gaming pc with the following components:

z87-G41 PC Mate Mother Board
GTX 660ti GPU

My question is this:
My friend has a brand new GTX 660ti that he is giving to me. Is there anyway I can run it on my motherboard - I believe it uses SLI and my motherboard is setup for Crossfire - Have looked up online and I am getting mixed reviews.

I dont want to buy a better card ( see alot of answer with " just buy a better GPU" my computer runs great just want to know if its possible to do without a huge headache..

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

In case you're curious, here are three great value Asus boards that support SLI.

The Z87 Gryphon is very interesting. I did a lot of research and bought one for my dad as it's very high quality and has a 5-Year Warranty (must register during setup).

These are all under $110 after rebate etc:

My top choice would probably be the Asus Z97-E because:

1) supports newer CPU's (5th gen Intel. see cpu support list)

2) SLI compatible

3) Reasonably priced ($110 after rebate)
*You have a GTX660Ti and want to add a SECOND CARD?

If so then NO you can't do this. The only thing you could do would be to designate the second card for PHYSX in supported games like the BATMAN ARKHAM series.

If you wanted SLI then you'd have to get a different motherboard.
