Hey.
I've just installed an SSD in my PC, therefore I did a fresh install of Windows 8.1 on my SSD, now I just can't access my HDD files.

I can see the drive and all the files, I just can't open any of them.

I tried switch boot order and now i can use my HDD but not the SSD.

can anybody tell me how to erase evrything on my HDD and make it a part of my SSD system?
My HDD only have steam games and cloud files so it's OK if destroyed.

Thanks to everyone that can help me

Hi

Please confirm you can boot from SSD with hard drive disconnected:
(if you cant boot to Windows do not proceed as below ask for more advice)

then if this works re connect hard disk and go into bios to confirm SSD is the boot drive
correct uefi / bios boot settings if necesary

Then find Disk Management (via Control Panel)

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows-8/a/disk-management-windows-8.htm
or for W7
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/create-format-hard-disk-partition#create-format-hard-disk-partition=windows-7

find HDD and look at partitions it will have at least 2
tell us the size of all partitions on Hard drive and hard disk size

If you remove all partitions on hard drive then create 1 or more new ones and format...

If you remove all partitions on hard drive then create 1 or more new ones and format them
you have a fresh hard drive ready to use
[this loses all data on Hard Drive]
