8 VS 16 Gig RAM

I am planning on purchasing a laptop. I would triple boot, edit music and video and code (all lightly), game and ideally have about a million chrome tabs open. How much RAM do I need?

The more RAM you have the better. I would recommend more than 16GB just to be safe. Like 32GB.
