hello

If this Splitter can control the fans automatically!
Why do I need fan controller ?

Solution
Yes, but only once. When you configure them to be automatically controlled according to temperature, you don't need to worry about changing the speed manually. When the unit is cool or at idle the fan speed will be low. When the system heats up fan speed will increase according to necessity. And that's not the type of fan splitter I was referring to. I was referring to these:

I would never use one of those other types as I've seen them completely fry systems. Most of those are really cheap China made units that I wouldn't trust with a trash canned computer.
Splitter don't control fans. They simply allow you to connect more than one fan (And no more than two on one header) to a single fan header on the motherboard. The motherboard bios is what controls the fans by way of thermal sensors located on the motherboard or CPU.

Using the motherboard to control fans, when enough fan headers are available, even if splitters need to be used, is a much better way of controlling fan speed and doesn't require a significant investment like a fan controller.

If you want to manually control the fans, then I can't help you since I'm not in favor of manual fan control panels. They just create a bigger mess inside the case and they don't do anything that can't be done using the motherboard. The only time to use one, in my opinion, is if the motherboard does not have a sufficient number of fans headers to power the number of fan locations you are planning to use. Even then, on modern motherboards of any quality, the use of fan cable splitters will usually be sufficient.

You can also use the motherboard connections along with Speedfan, but it's a more involved process.
