Dear Experts,
Please apologize me for repeating this question. But most of the answers are not helping me.

Recently I build my PC with below config
1. AMD FX 8350
2. Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
3. Asus Radeon HD 5450 (1GB Graphics card)
4. Kingston FURY 8GB (1866MHz)
5. Seagate HDD
6. Umax 600 W Smps
7. Deepcool Gammaxx 300

I have recently upgraded the BIOS too.

WIth all this, i am not able to use my PC for more than 5-10 minutes. Tempreture shoots up to 65 degrees and my UPS starts beeping and it switches off the current.

If I just use with basic tools like MS office or simple browsing i don't see any issue. However, when i start Visual Studio 2013 temperature starts shooting up and i end up shutting down my pc.

I contacted AMD for this, they replaced my processor but no help.

I wanted to know is there anything wrong with board, or graphics card...?

Please help me as I am not at all able to use my brand new PC.

Kind Regards
Bharat

Solution
Hi Vishal,
After using liquid, and disabling two cores it was working fine...howerver, i was not happy with that. So finally I changed my cabinet with corsair 650d. And since then it works nicely with all 8 cores enabled.

So what I conclude is my old cabinet was a major culprit. However we do need good air cooler or preferably liquid cooler.

Hope this helps you. In case if you would like to know more about this, drop me an email @ bharat.mane@gmail.com

65C for an 8350 CPU just sitting at the desktop is way too high. Your heat sink should be able to handle it easily. There has to be something wrong with the installation of your cooler.

I think your main problem is that the UMAX power supply is junk from what I can read. Your UPS is beeping because you are overloading it (because of the JUNK power supply) or it has a bad battery. You need to find a better quality power supply from one of the top tier vendors in the power supply list.

Thank you for your quick response, I will try changing power supply. However, power supply may not be the root cause. Another thing is I am not using stock cooler, I am using Deepcool Gammaxx 300. This one I got to know from another thread.

How do i ensure that the voltage is default or heating issue is not caused because of any wrong settings in bios?

Dear Experts,
After so much of frustration on this, I changed the SMPS to Corsair VS 550
And motherboard to Asus 990fx pro 2.0.

Now system runs for 2-3 hours and again i end up with same issue where temp rises up to 67 degrees, and system keeps giving warning and at times it shuts down...

Can anyone tell me what's going on as I changed almost everything
Processor Changed
Cooling fan changed
Motherboard changed
SMPS changed

:(((((((

Any suggested cooler...How about Corsair h100i....?

I am worried a lot as i am spending so much of money and still no luck... One observation tough...I see the rise in tempreture only when I start using Visual Studio 2013...would there be any relation with the graphics card that i have?

Thank you so much for your detailed response. Now that I have invested so much I want to find some solution to make it work. As suggested by you I am going to try out liquid cooling option and try out. I will update you as soon as do this. Just wanted to know if this cooler can fit in my Cooler Master CM250?

Kind Regards

You should try using the wall socket and not a UPS, the shut down is because the UPS cannot handle your power requirement.
You can also try changing the thermal grease between the CPU and cooler. Also check if the fan is working when the computer is on. If it's not working then it might be connected wrong.
Hope it helps.

I Do want to mention I had a similar problem. The way I fixed it was was removing any ore applied thermal paste from the cpu cooler and the cpu and replacing it with some other thermal paste. Temps went from 50 at idle to 20
