Hi. I'm looking to put together a mATX build in the Fractal Design Arc Mini R2. My motherboard of choice is the Asus Z97M-Plus and the cooler I will be using is the CM 212 Evo. I'm trying to make a decision between the Corsair Vengeance High Profile and Corsair Vengeance Low Profile memory. I like the High Profile Kit as I like tall and stylish heatspreaders. However, I'm afraid that they might interfere with the CM 212 Evo as it is a tall heatsink. I know you guys are gonna rant about how DDR3 doesn't kick out that much heat and big and tall memory heatspreaders aren't needed and are just stupid, but I really like Corsair's implementation of their Vengeance heatspreaders as the design borders between "Gamery" looking and "Classy" looking.

No prob. My 212 EVO has 1/2" that I can slide the fan up on the heat sink before the fan's mounting clips are flush with the top of the heat sink. That is when the fan starts out centered on the heat sink. You could actually even slide the fan up a bit further... as long as the top clips are catching the heat sink it will be fine.

Lol... no I didn't have to do that. I just grabbed a pic of a similar setup off the web and annotated it for clarity.

Btw, keep in mind that the fan can also be mounted on the opposite side of the heat sink in "pull" mode if absolutely necessary.
