Hey everyone, I am not a high end builder but I have built basic gaming rigs that werent liuqid cooled. I know AMD is very well off grid when it comes to CPU's so thats why I have stuck with the Phenom II 1100T since it was top line in it prime. (Never OC'ed though)
I purchaed my current build from a buddy about 2 years ago. He sold it to me for $400 with a low end GPU that he put in just to sell (Had the reciept still so I returned it, $50), so I really only paid $350. I added the R9 270X and SSD right away and it gave it a tremendous boost. It is starting to slow down though and would like to upgrade.
I did purchase ram in November. G. SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB).
Where should I start? Do I attempt to OC my current CPU and upgrade to a high end GPU or would upgrading to an i5 give me a tremendous boost while keeping my current GPU?

HDD: 2TB Seagate

PSU: 1000W Corsair PSU
