Gaming on Living Room with Bedroom PC

Hi guys,

So basically I want to be able to play games in my living room on the tv (about 10m away) without having to move my PC each time. It seems like a long HDMI cable is the way to go but im not sure about how to setup a keyboard/mouse.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, I'm just a bit concerned about the range, and the quality of the connection. But this does seem like its going to be the best solution. Any thoughts on the quality issues of long HDMI cables sizzling mentioned?

I'd rather not spend that much money but I have looked into those and may have to consider it.

Hmmm. That could be an issue then. Is there any other way I can display it (fyi it's not a smart tv)?

After some googling I've found quite a lot on the distance limitations of HDMI and consensus seems to be 5m/15feet.

About your computer use however, do you play games in the other room? Is it an office pc too? Could the PC be between the rooms somehow to minimise cable distance going each way?
