So here's my problem, an hour ago my pc crashed into a gray screen. Upon rebooting, the there are severe artifacts (green/blue bars) on the login screen and the PC crashes into another gray screen/BSOD when I enter my password.

I tried rebooting in safe mode and the artifacts are still present there. I uninstalled the video card drivers in safe mode and rebooted my PC, while I was able to login, the artifacts are still there despite the video card driver being uninstalled. After reinstalling the drivers, the PC crashes on login again.

Here are my system specs
CPU - i5 3570k
GPU - Sapphire 7850
PSU - Aerocool Strike X 500W
8GB RAM
Windows 7

Thanks.

try to uninstall your gpu from your motherboard( the sapphire ) and plug the display into the motherboard and boot up with integrated gpu.
The bad news: probably your gpu just failed :-/ do you have warranty on it?

Yeah then it's ripped.
By the way your other pc parts are pretty good. for upcoming games you'd need a gpu upgrade anyway. you should look at the r9 200 or gtx 900 series . the 900 series are bundled witch witcher 3 key now. ;d
