Hey Fellow Members,
I am looking to build my first gaming pc and was needing some advice from fellow members. I will be using this only for gaming and also researching stock prices(i occasionally stock trade). Games I play will include WoW & Runescape mostly and maybe some other MMOs. The build I wanna make has to have a h100i cpu cooler, I just really want to have a cpu water cooled. Aside from that my budget is around $1000 and will be ordering the parts through newegg. I am not including the monitor, shipping, keyboard, or mouse in the $1000.

If you are not planning on overclocking, you should go with xeon e3, have more cores and will probably have better performance inside big raids, encounters, etc

If you really want the H100i you can pick the E3 1231v3, and trow a bit more money in to the build.

If you want to overclock, you can go with this build:

And if you have plans to sli or crossfire in the future, you should get this MB (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz97xsli) or better (that can run two GPU at x8)

lol ?

Probably any Mb with LGA1150 will work with xeon E3 build for that socket... for the one I suggested: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H97%20Anniversary/?cat=CPU

no one builds a 1000$ gaming pc to use the integrated graphic card... so the fact that xeons normally dont have it is irrelevant. Btw, the xeon e3-1246 have built in graphic card.

And Hyperthreading does help in games ans will probably help even more in future more demanding games that can use more then 4 cores. http://techbuyersguru.com/CPUgaming.php
