Hey.
I am having a problem with nvidia games only. 4 games so to speak that always crash at random times while playing them. The games are:
-Borderlands 2 & The Pre Sequel
-Warframe
-Guild Wars 2
The crash consists of the screen turning black, the sound looping for about 5 seconds and then the computer attempting to restart. After this nothing happens so I have to hard reset the computer. I have no clue what is causing this and I have tried the following:
-Uninstalling/Reinstalling + Updating the graphics drivers
-Reformating my computer/reinstalling windows
-Reinstalling the card
-Reinstalling all the games
-Removing PhysX
I also have benchmarked my system and ran P95, a CPU 100% tool, and many graphical benchmarks that put my GPU to 100%. None of these, or other games, crash my system, only ones that are 'sponsered' or partnered with nvidia.
My system specs are as followed:
CPU: AMD A8 5600k
GPU: Gigabyte 650ti OC
RAM: 8GB HyperX Fury
HDD: WD 1TB Blue
PSU: 450W
Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know a fix?
Thanks.
