thank you but now presents another problem the screws i was provided with my water cooler that is a 280L are short and have small heads that go through the metal wholes in the case meaning the wholes in the case are to big at least on the top, what can i do should i try the bottom, you might say that there are the rubber smaller ones but those are to long and the screw doesnt reach throuh.???

The only holes that would work would be the ones with the rubber inserts becauze the other ones the screw head goes right through it. this is for the top mounting i have tried almost every position except putting the fans to the water cooler on top of the case instead of inside but that looks like poo poo.

A set of holes should line up with the mounting holes on the radiator. the 450D supports 240mm, 280mm, and 360mm radiators on top.

An easy way to find the right holes is to use a 140mm fan to find where things line up at.

Found this through a google search:

The top of the case also has multiple holes for mounting different radiators. While the case is a mid tower and thus has a difficult time supporting extra thick radiators like the H105, there is enough room to mount coolers like the H100i and the even wider H110. Whether your 280mm radiator has 15mm or 20mm fan spacing, the 450D will support it (the green circles are indeed oval shaped to accommodate the different types of fan spacing on radiators). The blue circles show the 120mm fan mounting points, and the red is the 140mm mounting points.
