Hello fellow overclockers,
I am overclocking my i7 4790K, which is currently running at 4.8Ghz with 1.275 volts. It seems to be pretty stable after 1 hour of OCCT stress testing and some gaming, but I am a bit worried about my core temperatures. CPUTIN was about 45 - 47 degrees celcius, which is not hot at all, but core#1 hit 91 degrees (max) at one point, and the others at about 85-88 degrees. On average the temperatures were mostly fluctuating within 70-80 degrees celcius. Therefore, I seek your guidance on this forum.
I want to know if i should continue my stress testing for multiple hours with these temperatures, to find out if it is stable at all, or if I should reduce the voltage and the frequency to achieve lower temperatures.
Thank you in advance.
