So, I was looking around for a full size mechanical keyboard, and I found two from Logitech,a bran d that I trust. These were the G710 and the G710+. I tried out Cherry MX Blue switches with a friends computer, and I really like them, but the G710+ is quieter. I am opting for the G710 as I am hearing that the keycaps break quickly on the G710+. Did Logitech fix this for the G710? Thanks.

I bought the G710+ last Saturday and afraid that the keyboard was just going to fail, Im already looking to return it. This AM, thinking on how much I love this keyboard, I called Logitech and the Rep told me that they fixed these issues that people were having in 2013 to late 2014. I decided to keep the keyboard because I love the feel and typing experience on it. If the keycaps break off Ill replace them with translucent ones and if the led lighting fails, ohh well!

I personally own the G710+ for about 2 months and have not experienced any keycaps breaking. I know I haven't really had it along time but you did say "quickly" so I figured I would throw in my two cents.

And just a heads up, the G710+ has brown switches and comes with rubber o-rings.
