Is there a way to diagnose my PSU?

Lately I've been running into some issues with my system, the biggest being that it will occasionally power off and then when it powers up say something about the Asus Anti power surge being trigger. I also have a few other issues, like not being to get a stable overclock, screen being black when it comes back from being idle (the computer doesn't go to sleep, it just powers off the display), etc...

I have a good PSU (Corsair AX1200), but it's now been running 24/7 for over 4 years, and it's been powering some hefty components (currently a 3930K and two R9 290X's, and before that a GTX 690, and before that two GTX 580s). Corsair has a 7 year warranty and the PSU is rated for 100,000 hours (24/7 for 11 years). Is it likely that my PSU is just worn out? And is there any way to tell?

Sounds like a tired little PSU... I would send for a brand new one to be honest and get a new one for another few new years. :)
