You'll be fine in most games but the AAA stiff will beg for a 2nd card.

Asus Rog Swift is a 1440p not 1600p, so can you make some benchmark on 1440p

Gaming, Watching Movies... Any Games at 40-60fps should be fine.

Ummmm.... I don't make the benchmarks .... ya just don't see benchmarks at 2560 x 1440 on the major sites.....

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_970_SLI/9.html

The difference between 2560 x 1600 and 1440 is very small....about 10%

22.5 in Crysis 3 will go to 25 or so at 1440p

29.8 in TR will go to 33 or so

Assassins Creed shoud go from 20.5 ro 22.5

Dead Rising should go from 37 to 41

Dragon Age from 34 to 37

Other than that you'll be fine

Though remember a big part of the price you are paying is for a) 144 hz and b) G-Sync, both of which benefit from > 60 Hz. Don't get me wrong, not trying to talk you out of that great monitor. I'd have one myself if I didn't have 3 kids in college :). But with Witcher 3 and other new games coming out as it approaches XMas time (and before they get scarce) , I think you should start planning for a 2nd 970
