How can I get fast internet if I only have USB 2.0 ports?

First off I'd like to say I don't fully understand how this works. With my connection plan I'm capable of getting 21 upload and around 25 download, but on my Desktop computer I can only get around 4 upload and 6 download. In order to actually get internet connection I use a USB adapter, but I only have USB 2.0 ports so the speed is really slow.

What could I do to get faster internet? Should I use another method? What would another method be?

are you on wifi or plugged in through an adapter?

In theory USB 2.0 is about 3 times faster than your internet connection so I doubt it has anything to do with that

Unless you're using USB3, it's bad for anything but printers, scanners, keyboards, and mice. It's not very good for network or storage.
