I know that the 4690 is better for gaming but by how much? Is it worth spending the extra $25 for the 4690? I am talking about actual gaming performance and not just a cpu benchmark. How many frames per second more does the 4690 get on cpu intensive games like planetside 2?

Solution
Yes you will definitely be fine, no need to worry about that.

I prefer to get an answer from multiple people to get adequate data to conclude my research.

So in the future when I get a more powerful graphics card, will the cpu's be able to keep up and not bottleneck the system?

I'm getting a new computer mainly because gta 5 is coming to pc and "The Division" is going to be amazing and I will want to play it. Also, battlefield is pretty fun but with my current gtx 660m, i'm not able to enjoy it that much. My gpu will be a gtx 980 (a little overkill but at least it will be very future-proof).
