Windows 11 update brings advertisements to the start menu

i5 4670k can't maintain a 4.2GHz OC @ 1.25 voltage. Bad Chip?

I tried overclocking to 4.2 and upped the voltage from 1.1 to 1.25 and I still BSOD. Do i just have a bad chip?

Solution

Probably, or some other settings mess with it's stability. For a start disable all power saving options and xmp.
