Hello , I have a emachine 1852g , I recently moved all internal parts to a mid tower , and installed a nivida gtx 630 graphics card . It works fine except I can't tell any differience in performance with new card . Can I upgrade the mobo and cpu to improve performance , i'm trying to use rocksmith 2014 with this machine but it seems too weak to run it without freezing up . Any advice would be greatly appreciated , my first attempt to improve my pc on my own and on a budget , thanks.

The nivida gtx 630 graphics card is listed as needing a minimum 300 watt or greater power supply. The emachine 1852g has a 220 watt power supply which may be your problem.

A mid tower case will fit ATX or Micro-ATX size motherboards if you want to do that.

Thanks for the reply , I actually did upgrade my power supply to 450 watts . I also play CFS3 , Lock On and a few other pc combat flight games that also freeze up while playing . I would like advice on improving performance , I have read so much lately its becoming confusing . I'd like a better processor but then I need better mobo , seems like one thing leads to another , thought about z97 mobo with a i3 processor and also another gc , Zero performance gain by adding the gtx 630 , I know its low end but should be better than a G41 chipsét or at least thats what I thought . I' m looking at spending around 400 dollars to upgrade , thanks .
