Run two active subwoofers possibility!

Hey everyone,

Of course I'm new here. I have a yamaha rx-v371, yes old! So I want to add another subwoofer to it. I have the original sub that came with the system and I want to add a theater solution SUB12D. I'm having trouble setting this up! If the setup is possible can anyone help me with this issue.

if both subwoofers are self powered, you can just use a splitter on the output to power both. powered subs do not require the receiver to power them so work fine.

however having 2 subs =/= better than 1 in all cases. improper placement or use of two different subwoofers can in some cases cancel eachother out to some degree and give you the worst of both. in other cases you may improve your sound.
