I will be building my very first gaming pc in the near future. I want your guys thought and opinions on my build. Here is my build so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/p3tHK8 The motherboard is still in question, but I would like ideas on a good budget motherboard that I could overclock the fx 6300 to 4 to 4.5ghz. Will this PSU be sufficient enough power to supply a overclock? Pcpartpicker says that this will only draw 314w. Also, would going with a r9 280x be worth the extra money?

I would recommend an i3 in this case if you are gaming... Which you are. The i3 outperforms the 6300 in gaming.

As you can see, the only game the 6300 has an edge on is BF4 and thats because it uses all cores.

Also, I do NOT recommend OCING on that PSU.

This would be a better build

I would like too stay with the fx 6300 since its cheaper and I can overclock it. Would a corsair cx 600m be a better option for the psu?
