i removed my goflex usb adaptor from my external seagate hdd .Can i use my usb adaptor to connect my internal hitachi hdd

when i connected my internal sata hdd with goflex sata to usb adaptor to my laptop it does not detect my internal hdd.. do i need some drivers or something or should i buy another sata to usb connector

If this is just the cable connecting SATA to USB and the internal drive is in good health, I see no reason for the drive not to be recognized. Perhaps you could try another drive to see if the same thing happens or contact the manufacturer's customer support directly to ask if you can use it with other devices, different from the HDD it came with.
