Well i was kinda worried of which is finally the best way of applying new thermal paste like the MX-4 on a gpu core.Been read a lot about this, like do that, don't do that, apply by this, don't apply by this etc.
Technics like a dot of pea or rise, small pea or rise, the x method and the manual spreading method.
Well as i've think about it the best way for me is either the light x method or the manual spreading with a piece of a sellotape taped on my finger for uniformity spreading.I mean its not a CPU core right? its meant to be spread all over the core surface.I would like to hear your thoughts about this.

Yes i also believe this method works best, plus if your afraid of air bubbles or even spread, you just put a small amount of thermal paste forming x on the core and just let the screwing down firmly spread it all over.Just as i thought!

I always like to put enough non-conductive paste on so that it covers the conductors on the GPU PCB when it spreads too :)
