New SDD Recommendation

Hello,

Quick question:
SAMSUNG 850 Evo Series SSD mSATA, 250GB (MZ-M5E250BW)

or

SAMSUNG 850 Evo Series SSD, 250GB (MZ-75E250B)

The price difference between the two is about 6 Euro

PS. I have a Desktop

I know the other is an msata, I have a port for that. I was asking which to get with possible a reason why...

Does your particular motherboard support booting from that mSATA port? Not all do.

From your user manual (p. 1-24), SATA port #6 is disabled if you use the mSATA slot.

Doesn't look like any performance difference either way.

So if you were placed with this choice (money-wise it's identical), which would you choose?
From one perspective msata would be better because it takes up less space and you don't need to buy an extra sata cable with it. On the other hand there is the traditional sata SSD...

Help me out here

Drives usually come with a cable. Or your motherboard does.
Or buy a stack from Monoprice.com for $0.50 ea.

Which would I get? Either. It's the same drive, just in a different mounting package.
