Memory different spd speed at 1.5v,. why...?

Hi,.
I was looking at different memory kits for a new build and i already got TridentX 2x8gb 2400mhz suggested by a fellow at tom's, But i am wondering about spd speed at 1.5v,. I saw too many like gskils, corsair, mushkin etcetc, all of them has spd speed of 1600mhz at 1.5v for 4gb kits(4gb, 2x4gb) and spd speed of 1333mhz for 8gb sticks( 8gb, 2x8gb),. why the 8gb sticks don't have spd speed of 1600mhz at 1.5v,

The Tri across the board are high performance, for 1600 optimal is CL7 and I think at 1.55 - can prob run at 1.5 with CL7 or could go CL8 if wanting to run 1600, not sure whay you want to drop to 1600 though. With other sticks you are probably seeing looser timings like CL8-9-10

I don't wanna go down for 1600,. i was just wondering about the difference of mhz between 4gb and 8gb sticks at 1.5v,. And thanks for your suggestion about tridentX,. i am gonna receive that tomorrow,'

Hi,
As we will be using G3420 for a while until 4670k or an i7,. i was wondering what would be the best frequency setting to get optimized performance out of g3420 and tridentX,. and how to do that,.

Good Day! TradesMan.

Hope you are fine,. I was out of the city and my Tridents 2x8gb 2400mhz were taking dust in my mailBox, I installed them today, They are booting at 1333mhz at 1.5v, i enabled xmp and set dram freq to 1600 and its now running at 1600mhz but at 1.65v,.
Now, can you help me configuring the timings to run it on 1.5v at 1600mhz or 1866mhz, or its not possible,,

Thanks for your kind response, yes i did the manual voltage and timings setting and its now running on 1.5v at 1600mhz, i can push it more but i dont need as i am using it with g3420 dual core.

In the meanwhile i have a question, The system i have it only and only for games for my son,. So do we need all that 16gb of ram to play battlefield4,. i bought it online and they can still accept it back for the full refund, so i were thinking to get a refund of euro150 and then buy 8gb of ram (1866mhz used for 50 euro) and use the extra 100 for r9 290 (in used for 150). or i5 4670k.

Please suggest if i am right and what ram shall i buy,.
