I have an older HP desktop and for a year the 2TB hard drive was partitioned into two 1TB partitionws. It contain a lot of data and was probably about 80% full. The system drive became corrupt and I reinstalled Windows 7. After the installation I noticed the external 2TB drive now appears as a single drive (unformatted) and of course the data is no longer accessible.
What can I do to recover that data or have the drive recognized as it was before?
