Is AM3+ Socket Type Processor Compatible With LGA 1155 Motherboard?

i have bought a new motherboard : Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H
i still havent bought a processor for it, but have my eyes on the AMD AM3+ FX-4300 processor.

what fries me is that, the motherboard says it is LGA 1155 CPU compatible motherboard, while the processor i have my eyes on is a AM3+ Socket Type. so can i buy it and install the processor in my newly bought motherboard?

PS: please do not suggest other motherboards or CPU's as i am fixed on these two.

no it wont be compatible because the am3+ is a socet and the amd fx 4300 only goes into the am3+ socket while the lga 1155 can only have intel cpu's that is compatible with the lga 1155 socket you can go and search by socket on a website and get up the cpu's you can choose
