Sabertooth 990fx r2.0: I can't get the drivers to upload into the system. I've run the disk several times and it looks like it's reading it but no motherboard components will run after it had read the disk. It just says no drivers for that component and I can't get it to search for the drivers on the CD when It asks to find drivers. No internet because that's a motherboard component ...

Get the drivers from www.Asus.com. you can put them on either a CD or flash drive and install them one at a time. I recommend just doing the Lan driver first to get the machine on the net them download the rest to that machine. the drivers on the disk are way outdated anyways so you will need to go get the updated ones anyways.

Also make sure the optical drive sata cable is plugged into one of the 6 solid color ports. These run off the south bridge directly and the other 2 need a driver installed to be used. Do not plug anything into the USB 3 ports yet as those need drivers also to work.
