i have a Seagate Blackarmor NAS 440, connected with a 10/100/1000 switch to my computer. My computer has a 10/100/1000 Ethernet connection.
I am getting surprisingly slow speeds, about 5mb/s from the NAS to my PC. Also surprising is that i have more than one volume on the NAS and speeds between the volumes is also around 5mb/s.
I know i should be getting much faster speed. What could be causing this? the HDD are all 7200rpm.
