New Gaming Build - PCpartpicker list - Any issues?

Going to use this pc for gaming/rendering videos for youtube and streaming on twitch. Do you see any issues with this build? I dont know much about cases/PSU/Cooler/Motherboards. Not sure what the best option is in those categories. Looking to stay close to this price, dont want to go over $1500 for sure. Thanks!

only issue is your motherboard. you should buy a z97 chipset board for compatibility and overclocking. literally any asus z97 will do the job. other than that i don't see any problems. it will be a good gaming rig!

Z97 would provide an upgrade option to Broadwell (5th gen i-series) but no further (Skylake goes to socket 1151) and more native SSD options (m.2 or SATA express).

Some might take issue with the PSU also, Corsair has good and bad PSU but the CX are known for not using the best quality capacitors

I would upgrade to a Z97 motherboard and get the EVGA 600B power supply.

Only problem is your MB & your Psu.
Never ever buy a cheap Psu.....never.....It`s the hart of your system

I'd like to add one more thing. I love my Samsung EVO 840 but they do have a little issue right now. The old data has slower read times. You should buy the 850 EVO instead.

looking at the price of that mobo and cpu makes me cry, an i5 4690k is $6 more than that i7 and the mobo is $120 more... #aussielife
