Internet disconnects ONLY When Typing

I've been experiencing this problem with my wireless internet connection where I disconnect from my router when I try to type. As I type more than 50 words or so my connection drops and I have to reconnect again. I can browse the internet for hours and when I attempt to type, for example on this forum my connection drops several times.

I've especially noticed the problem trying to work on Google docs. Signal strength is extremely strong and I have no problems working on the same desk with my laptop. Also nobody else in my house experiences this problem. All my drivers are up to date and it doesn't matter if I have any other programs running at the same time or not.

Running Windows 7 Home and using a Tp-Link Wireless Card (TL-WDN4800)

Siv,

New problem: I.e., everything has been working properly for awhile without any known hardware or software changes - correct?

Is the Tp-Link Wireless Card securely seated?

Are all of the antennas tight and staying properly upright/oriented?

Do you have another wireless card or USB wireless adapter to install and use for testing?

What happens if you just "pretend" to type - i.e., just tap as if typing on the top edge or some other neutral area of the keyboard?

Are you using a wireless keyboard? What happens if you use another wireless keyboard or a wired keyboard?

Do not know why the problem would be more prevalent in Google docs.

Trust that the above suggestions may help you narrow things down a bit and then someone would...

Hey thanks for trouble shooting list,

The card is seated correctly I checked and everything appears fine. All of my Antennas are secured as well. I can get a friends usb wireless adapter to test with I hadn't thought of that before. My keyboard is wired and pretending to type does nothing. Its only when I actually type.

Siv,

Thanks.

While you are at it, try another keyboard if possible.....

Remember to change out only one device (i.e., the keyboard and the wireless adapter) at a time. I would suggest the keyboard first as that should be the simplest.

I am wondering if there is some electrical problem involving the keyboard port (USB?) and the wirelesss network card. Would not expect a device problem/conflict per se as everything worked before as I read your post. How close is the keyboard plug connection to the wireless adapter slot you are using?

Anywy try the hardware swaps and keep notes on what happens. Hopefully the source of the problem will be identifiable. Good luck.
