My system:
i7-4930k cpu
ASUS Rampage IV Black ed MB
Swiftech H240-X water cooler
16gb (2x8gb) G Skill Trident X 2133
EVGA GTX 750Ti 4gb video card (The 970 will be on order next week!)
840 pro 256gb SSD
2tb WD Black ed HDD
1tb WD blue HDD
I will be doing some heavy OCing soon and wanted to ensure I had a good (quiet) 140mm fan to put in the angled adjustable fan mount for the MB. So what are your recommendations?
My criteria, in order
1. Reliable
2. Quiet
3. LED lighting
The LED lighting is not that important as there is plenty of included LED lighting in my system as is.
Here are a few that I found:
1. Thermaltake CL-F013-PL14BL-A 67.0 CFM 140mm Fan
2. Prolimatech PRO-BV14 87.0 CFM 140mm Fan
3. Xigmatek XAF-F1451 90.3 CFM 140mm Fan
4. Xigmatek XAF-F1456 90.3 CFM 140mm Fan Blue LED
5. Phanteks PH-F140SP_BK 82.1 CFM 140mm Fan
The $40 Xigmatek is probably not going to happen as that is way to expensive just to have LED lighting.
I am asking you all because I don't know how reliable they are or how they actually perform in the real world.
Are there other better options available?
Bruce
