help.... how do i connect my 2 netgear gigabit swtich hub together? what is the crimp code? or how do i connect it together because we tried crossing it or straight it cannot detect each other... sorry for my english...

Solution
If the switches are auto-sensing (and all recent models are), you may use either a standard ethernet cable or a cross-over cable. I'm not sure about your particular switch model, but there should be no "detection" for a basic dumb switch. Just plug the cable into both switches and they will be fully connected.

Solution
What model is it, by the way a switch and a hub are two different devices (a hub is much dumber and less capable then a switch).

Most 8 port switches are all auto-sensing meaning they can autodetect if the connection is a pc or if it is the output from a router/switch.
If the switch has a dedicated uplink port then you need to connect a regular port form switch 1 to the uplink port of switch 2.
