ehm. neither is the best. The best gtx 980 is the gigabyte g1 gaming by far. it has the best cooling, highest tdp headroom for overclocking, highest factory oc... and its even cheaper than the strix( at least in my country)

sorry , i can't name any proper source because it isbased on information what i gathered since i got my 980. its mostly based on own experience, i know the tdp from gigabyte because i asked them. also there is a huge 800 page thread on overclockers ( gtx 980 owners club). of course what i said is only true for non bios modded and factory cooling system cards, because you can eaven reach 1700mhz on it with modded vbios and a custom waterloop.
