So this is a fairly simple question. I am looking for a dual LGA2011-v3 socket motherboard that will support quick sync. If it does I would appreciate a like or what terms you used for your search.

Thanks

Solution
I actually looked at the current Xeons and the only ones with iGPU's are the E3's and they only do one socket. So there aren't any like what your looking for.

You correct that it's a function of the iGPU built onto the CPU, but it still requires the Motherboard to support it.

Ahh well then it'll be the chipset. I'll see if I can dig up a list of the chipsets that support it then.

Thank you very much for looking into that for me! I greatly appreciate it. I've come to the same conclusion so now I am looking for the same setup but with a different socket (like a 1155 or something)

I guess the real question is, can you do dual cpu with quick sync.

I'm going to say no the Xeons are the only ones that do dual socket are the e5's even first gen e5's (1155) didn't have iGPU's only the three's.

Why does it have to be dual CPU's with quick sync? anything done by quick sync could really be done better (faster) by OpenCL/CUDA and any program that needs that kind of processing power should support at least one of those.
