http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DhwFMp. This build will be for gaming. I was wondering how long it should last for gaming. Also I don't know if I should go for 4k, because I'll only be able to get 60 fps. I'm thinking about 1440p and 144hz with g sync and it's display.

It'll last you a good long while, BUT, it's so overkill for 1440p gaming. You'd be better off building a $2k machine now and using the remaining $3k to keep upgrading it over the course of like 5 or 6 years or more.

1000% overkill for even 4k
Titan X in sli?
16k monitors have not been made yet
That pc would last up to 20 years
You can get a build that would do the same for way way cheaper:

well maybe not 20 years. but the idea is the same- if you keep upgrading with current technology, you'll end up with a much longer lifespan than to pay for bleeding edge capabilities at a high premium and that you can't even take advantage of today
