I cant decide between the gtx 750 ti sc (which i know for a fact will run on a 460w) or a gtx 960 which is apparently much better than a 750 ti. I have two 6 pin connectors free to use after everything else is plugged in. I do know that the 960 is designed for less power consumption but i just need to know if it is safe to use
will a gtx 960 work on a 460w power supply

A GeForce GTX 960 NEEDS 20 amps on the 12v+ rail and a 400 WATT PSU with 1 - 6 pin PCIE power connection , if your PSU meets or exceeds the requirements you can run it.
