Well of course I know that PC is superior to console but hear me out. I was going to build a PC when all of my gaming friends got Ps4s. This was originally going to be my pc build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qcrh8d But so much of my friends have one and that Ps4 is now just as god-like as PC, I really don't know what to choose. Also I will be heading to Korea over the summer to spend time with my family for 2~3 months. I would like to play games there but building, & bringing the whole thing plus monitor and peripherals doesn't sound good to me.

The first thing you should look at is the game library: how many PS4 games are you interested in vs PC? There is no point in getting a PS4 just because your friends did if you have little to no interest in most games your friends are playing.

Getting a whole PC through customs both ways could be a hassle though. A laptop would be less troublesome, were it not for the large price gap between mainstream models and more gaming-oriented ones.

well first of all a pentnium is no gaming cpu, intel is better at higher end cpu's(i5 and i7)but at that budget you can either get low end intel chips or mid-high end amd chips... i would replace the pentnium with an fx-6300 and for the graphics card i would get an r9 280 for only a tiny bit more... trust me it will be worth it, pentniums will not even run some demanding games that NEED four cores like far cry 4... 4 or more cores is the new standard s my vote is 6 core amd... whoever is telling you to get a pentnium must not like amd, they just have unbeatable prices for the performance and if your building a budget rig its a win win...anyway i would go for pc... on pc you can multitask, play with game settings, benchmark and play games at higher quality and upgrade your pc... on ps4 you can play games and attempt to google search and browse the web using a gamepad... you can also get locked into no upgrades ever... imo definitely go pc...
