Trying to upgrade from phenom ii x4 965 to fx 8320
when i put in the fx 8320 computer does not post, memok lights stays blinking red, but the computer works when i put in the phenom ii x4 again, so i thought maybe the fx processor was bad so i tried it with my old athlon ii x3 and athlon ii x2 and still no post. It only post with the phenom iix4, if downgraded, and upgraded the bios to the most current. Reset the CMOS a million times. switched what location the graphics card was in. Took out ram and place each one separately and together in multiple locations. and still can cant get it to Post with any other cpu other than the phenom ii x4, im out of ideas and im extremely pissed off considering i dropped over 100+ dollars on a new processor and it doesnt even work ! any help is appreciated PLEASE!!!
