First. Are you sure you need a Z97 board. Unless you are going to overclock your CPU and going for SLI/Crossfire I would suggest ditching a Z97 board. Second. I would not buy anything that has gaming attached to it. They do not provide any better performance and the higher cost is because it says gaming on it.

If you mean the differences between the two. MSI has more RMA's than Asus. Asus normally has better warranty and easier to return/refund. MSI is rather irritating when it comes to that. Also MSI tech support is somewhat lacking compared to Asus.

Guess what. When you make an assumption, you make an ass out of you and umption. My post has nothing to do with fanboyism. So you are wrong. Secondly. Has to do with personal experience, working in the tech field and having to deal with these companies. Third I would recommend ASRock or Gigabyte first then recommend Asus.
