So i'm looking to set up my pc in my living room. I wanna game from my couch with a mouse and keyboard. To do this i'm just gonna use a simple lap-pad like one's used for laptops. I just need a keyboard now that A.) Will not suffer from input lag and can reach at least 15 feet or so to my couch.

B.) Has a USB hub built in so i can plug a wired mouse of my choice into the keyboard and game with it on my couch.

C.) Preferably rechargeable. This can be lived without for now.

There's this http://www.ownthecouch.gg/site.php which I want SO BADLY. But it hasn't come out yet and is likely to be a little pricey. If I can find a decent wireless keyboard with a USB hub i'll be set.

that won't happen.

think about what you're asking. if you think about it for a few minutes you'll realize your error.

ok forgive me if you already figured out why this doesn't exist, but i'll explain it now.
1) the keyboard is cordless, meaning it runs on battery power
2) a USB plug needs to SUPPLY POWER to devices such as mouse, hard drives or cell phones
3) there is no batteries in existence that will drive a cordless keyboard more then an hour or so wiht another usb device plugged into it
= there are no cordless keyboards with a usb hub in them.

Yeah that makes sense. But the Roccat sova supposedly has usb ports with cable management which allows you to plug your wired mouse into the roccat sova and use it. I'm guessing the sova has a pretty hefty battery so it can support the mouse and the keyboard itself. It's rechargeable. It just isn't available yet for sale so i'm looking for some other alternative.

now you got me. probably a bluetooth one. i don't think the ir ones are all that reliable.

in my experience with bluetooth mice, they tend to be much better then the "normal" wireless ones. it's likely the same for the keyboards.

I have all wired devices myself. nothing bugs me more then the assorted issues that can come with wireless devices.

Use a wireless usb hub. There are other options for power rather than outlet ie. Use it in conjunction with a variable voltage battery. Sure your keyboard array will be huge, but if you get a lapdesk you'll be fine. Funny I was looking into doing the same thing about 12 years ago and gave up because of the price $120 for wireless usb hub that only had one star on amazon and well the battery pack I bought for something like $30 about 10 years ago to charge phones and have a portable variable voltage solutio.
