PS3 Slim. Black screen no safe mode.

Yes I have tried everything you can find on the net. For every problem that there could be. It all started with the dreaded fall but only from vertical to horizontal. So about the highth of the console. And that was with the HDMI pluged in. I have tried everything sence to get her back to like. When you turn it on you get a single beep with the light going from red to green. Then you try and try and try as you might but you can't get it to go into anything. No safe mode no matter how you try to get into it with any of the tricks there is. I have even tried the dreaded penny trick. I tryed the fan test and that seems to work but then I notised something at least I find odd but when you first turn it on you see the light change and the single beep but no hdd light flashing in the front but the fan in the console runs and seems to run fine. You can here a noise like it's trying to do something in the hdd. I have tried the hdd that is in the so far broken PS3 in my other console and it works great. You try and turn on the broken PS3 with out the hdd and still nothing all same results. So then I noticed the second thing and that's when I tryed the fan test the second time it started the test the fan got louder for about 5 seconds then everything stopped and the red light would not come back on till I pulled the power and put it back in. Then I turned the unit back on and tryed to get it into safe mode and guess what now ... Now when it shuts off the first time if you press the Power button to turn it on again and hold it the green led goes out and then there is no led on at all. But if you press the button again it goes back into standby mode and then press it again and you can get the red to green led and it seems to be on but like I said no hdd led flashing the fan is spinning well. There is just no video or audio no safe mode no rest mode. No nothing but everything els seems good. so I have no idea what to try next. That's when I turned to this site to see if any one has ever in countered a Problem like this and got it fixed. I'm starting to think it might be time to just give up. I am a man that normaly never gives up. So like I said any advice would be awesome thanks.

I edited my post so you all might be about to read it better. Sorry I just got up when I wrote the reply. I live on the easy cost so lol. But any advice would be awesome. The DVD/blueray drive seems at least with no screen or anything to be fine. I can put a disk in and hear it spin and sound like a good working drive. I have checked all the ribbon cables and still can't find anything. I even tore it down again this morning to see if there was something I missed and still can't find anything.
