i have a Dell Inspiron 3542 with nvidia geforce 820m 2gb vga 1tb hdd 8gb ram and intel i5 4210u core.can i upgrade the vga?if i can,what would be a good replacement?if i can't upgrade should i overclock and if yes,how much overclocking is safe and how can i do it?

thanks man.i was trying to find the answer on google,but nothing....do u know if i can change anything in the control panel for next gen games so i can have some decent fps?

Not really.

Laptops are very closed environments, so they very limited. Your CPU is a embedded one (it's soldered to the motherboard), your GPU too. The cooling solutions for both are designed with very few extra heat dissipation room.

But your hardware is not bad, you should be able to play games a 720p low-mid settings.
