Currently I only use my Steelseries H Wireless as audio output. It's base is connected to the PC via USB cable. No HDMI, no 2.5mm, 3.5mm jacks.

That's my Device Manager:

Is there a way to organize it? I see duplicate devices in there. S/PDIF, Line In I don't use, why things have a "3-" before them?

Why would you want to mess around with that? Just curious.....

I'm kind of a "perfectionism", so I like things "correct" and having this mess in the Audio devices "hurts" me.

I wouldn't mess around with that myself, just cause if you do end up deleting one of the "repeted ones" you might break something. This is more of a guide-line for Windows itself and not so much for the user, that's why I'm wondering why do you care :p.

Yesterday I checked Windows Update and there was a Realtek Audio related update, I installed it and now everything is OK!!!

No"3- " thing, no duplicates, everything organized as it should be: 2 Microphones (one from the notebook and another from the headset) and 2 Speaker (one from note, another from headset) and the Digital Output.

As I said this is more of a Windows thing, so any update to be made had to be on their part. You were quite lucky that they rolled out that new update within a few time of you posting.

Anyway, I'm glad your problem was solved!
