I have a Panasonic TX-L32E30B tv and I am tryingn to hook it up to my pc but have been unsuccessful. I have plugged in the ethernet cable and tried it in all of the ports of my router and no relief. When I run a connection test from the tv it tells me to 'check network cable connection'. I hope someone can help. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I tried to run the cable form ym pc to tv, yes. I had a quick look at the guide in the link but my menu is different to the one in the guide. I am able to select 'wired' rather than ethernet cabl but even so, this is the point at which the connection fails. What do I need to do on ie10? Is there something I should be doing on ie before plugging it in to make this work? Can this be done from chrome instead?

Is the wifi adapter essential or only necessary if I do not use an ethernet cable?

thanks again for your reply.

it wont work from pc to tv, it has to be router to tv. It will still be able to steam from the pc as it will see it on the network.

the adapter is only necessary if you do not use the cable. it will be a much better experience and less headaches to use the cable.

you should not need to do anything for ie10, it was only needed to view the guide.

Sorry, I meant to say router, I don't know why I put pc! (silly me) I am happy to use the cable to be honest as the tv is very close to my computer but it is still unable to find a connection even though it is plugged in.

I have attached a link to show what I am presented with when trying to connect. https://imageshack.com/i/eyuaw9lAj
